Cybersecurity

About the service

Cybersecurity is concerned with protecting systems, networks, devices and data from cyberattacks such as code injection, data leakage and ransomware. In short, cybersecurity protects computer networks (both local and public) from external threats.

Our goal is to provide protection against cyber attacks. Vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, firewalls, and multi-factor authentication schemes are all part of StarSoft‘s cybersecurity.

We remind you! Implementing cybersecurity measures will help to detect any suspicious activity and prevent it.

What types of cyber attacks do we protect against:

Malicious software

Protection against malware that can transmit your personal data, install other malicious programs on your device, or simply disable your operating system.

Malicious code on the website

Detecting and removing malicious code that interferes with the full operation of the website. As well as implementing protective actions to prevent such cases.

DDoS attacks

A DDoS attack means that your network or server cannot handle the volume of Internet traffic. This amount of traffic exceeds the network's bandwidth and you cannot use it for its intended purpose. This type of attack most often targets websites of businesses and organisations.

Ransomware

Ransomware encrypts all your files. You won't even know you're downloading ransomware. It often arrives in your inbox as an innocent file.

Phishing

Phishing is a type of fraud in which a criminal pretends to be a trusted counterparty. A phishing attack can take the form of an email, a message on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, or even a phone call.

Cybersecurity methods:

Encryption

Encryption is a great way to keep you safe. An application or service that uses encryption will take your messages or files and convert them into code that makes it impossible to read the original information.

Authentication

Authentication is an authentication process that makes sure you are who you say you are, so intruders cannot log into your accounts.

SIEM

A SIEM (Security Information and Event Management System) is a real-time security tool. SIEM solutions are available as software or services.

Antivirus and firewalls

Antivirus and firewalls help stop malware even before you click the Download button; they detect cybersecurity threats and remove them immediately or move them to a safe folder.

VPN

A VPN hides your IP address, which is the address that serves as your unique identifier on the network and is somewhat similar to your home address. By hiding it, fraudsters won't be able to find your location or network.
